Half Term

24th - 30th OCTOBER 2009

The golden days of autumn are here, the mist is hanging in the valleys, the leaves are turning red and gold, the ground below the horse chestnut tree is carpeted with conkers, the jays and squirrels are busy gathering acorns and the hedges are adorned with all sorts of beautiful berries for the birds to feed on in the winter. What a wonderful time of the year!! So why not take the opportunity to make one last visit the farm before we close for the winter.

AS WELL AS ALL THAT NATURE HAS TO OFFER
THERE IS SO MUCH TO DO AND SEE AROUND THE FARMYARD

Baby Animals
It may be autumn but baby animals still abound!! We have new born kittens and lots of baby guinea pigs to cuddle!!

Animal Feeding
During half term our animal feeding tours a will take place from 11am and from 2pm.  Come and join in and help us to feed the goats, donkeys, pigs and ducks. You will even be able to hand milk Buttercup the cow, cuddle the baby animals and find out what Marigold the pig enjoys for her special treats!!  Don’t worry if you can't make it in time for 11am, you can join the tour when you can, then stop for lunch and be ready for the first part of the afternoon tour at 2pm!!
